Utterance is a casual singing group for anyone who likes to make noise with others, led by composer Verity Standen. Verity will bring along a range of songs to get things started, from Bjork to Bulgarian folk tunes. And then she’ll go away and arrange anything that the group suggests - from sea shanties to classic soul - with a focus on rich and playful harmonies.

Say hello to the M.Y Art Club! We're super excited to be partnering up with the acclaimed local illustrator, Rachel Gale to host a new kid’s art club at Makers' Yard. Our monthly art club is a new space for children to explore their creativity through a curated series of classes for 4-7 and 8-12 year olds. Little artists, who wants to join our club?

Join artist Danny Markey for this three hour session which will provide some basic knowledge and tips for working in oils. It will cover painting in the landscape in particular. There will be a short demonstration followed by painting from observation (outside if we are lucky with the weather!).
